Our cities are growing by leaps & bounds. How are our cities going to combat the growing populations in the near future? City planners must keep in mind that cities can’t always grow outward but can always grow upwards, towards the vast blue skies.
In the game of Skyways from Eagle-Gryphon Games that is exactly what players have to do. As the city planner each person is going to score points for adding blocks to their buildings while connecting each of those buildings by skyways.
Skyways is a game for two to four players, ages eight to adult, & will usually take around forty-five minutes to play.
A player’s turn will generally consist of drawing a double-block, placing a double-block or a single block, scoring their blocks, & as an option they may place a capitol block to close off an area so an opponent can no longer place on that block.
There are only two tiers to back in this Kickstarter project. The first is a retail only tier. The second tier is called the City Planner tier. This tier will run $39. It will come with the game, a limited edition crane miniature, & of course any stretch goals that have been unlocked. You will be able to add more copies of the game after the campaign has ended.
This looks to be a pretty interesting abstract style game. Skyways will be up on Kickstarter until May 22nd, 2017. You can back the game here: Skyways. Also featured on the Kickstarter page is a few videos & some pictures showing off more of the game.
Get ready to build upwards & game on!
